How's everyone enjoying their holidays? It's been a hot week for us here in Perth, averaging around the mid 30s. I've just checked the weather forecast and it's going to be a steaming hot Monday next week, tops at 40 deg.c!!!

My red Smitten With Mittens Holiday Nails were looking a little bit tired and I thought of creating a new design. This design was inspired by the talented Asami's Winter Trees design. Asami created a series of amazing holiday nail designs. They were all so pretty, but I've always loved the look of bare winter trees.

Being Jin, I just can't stop with just tree branches :), I've added snow on the branches and big floating snowflakes everywhere! Although it's hot, I hope I'll feel cooler just by looking at the snow on my nails. hehehe

Hi Hitomi! Didn't know you are from Australia too! Yes I do love the blue and white trees too. Original idea is from Asami. I'm still learing how to draw this properly. You should see Asami's original version it's really well drawn!

I love them! How gorgeous! So neat and beautiful Jin. Are you loving this heat? We went to the beach this morning, the breeze was blowing and it was gorgeous, but it's not so nice now that we are home! 40 degrees! We are going to melt! At least we have a break! Happy Holidays! :)

Awesome! I'm so happy to see that you did the winter trees. I love the added snowflakes and the colors you chose. Thank you so much for the mention! :)

Thanks Danielle! I am loving the nail polish from The Face Shop. The colour and application are actually quite good. However the brush could be better. I am 'loving' the heat! Luckily it's cools down in the evening. I totally understand how hot it can get at home cos I don't have an air-con. Sometimes it gets so hot I have to put my head in the freezer! Haha. Happy Holidays to you too!

Rachel, I managed to find some snowflakes nail stickers and decided to add it to the winter trees design. Unfortunately my hands were not coordinated enough to draw them yet! Yes I am 'enjoying' the steam! Hehe yesterday was really hot. Even at night the air was heavy and still. Have to endure another hot day today! I spent all yesterday watching this Korean drama called Coffee Prince. It's so addictive! Happy Holidays to you too!
