Pink is in town and I'll be going to her concert!
My first attempt on Leopard print. hehehe Very over the top but fun. Better wear it while I am still 'youngish'. Or am I already a 'lao hiao" (Old Vain) ? hahaha

Wow my weekend's been packed with weddings and birthdays. I've lost count of the number of presents I've bought this month. I've created a few darker coloured nail art the past few weeks to welcome the winter months. I've also tried painting flowers and lines but some were not very successful :( I'm still working my way to become ambidextrous!
Phew I am safe from this round of retrenchment. Thank God!
Thanks to all who have given me lots of encouragement. It's been very stressful and sad to see some of my team members loose their job. My manager and I have been moved to a new department and we're still unsure how the new environment will be like. I hope it'll be a great team to work with.

It's been pretty gloomy at work the whole week. I tried to wear brighter colours everyday to help cheer myself up. Created a cheerful nail art this week as well.

Whenever I have family or friends travelling to Asia, the first thing I ask them to bring back for me are nail stickers! I absolutely love them for their ease of use and convenience especially when creating nail art. See the cute flowers my sister bought for me (pink nails).

I just got 2 new nail colours - OPI My Private Jet & OPI DS Coronation. The DS Coronation is a beautiful sparkling gray but I looks a bit too transparent by itself. On this photo, I actually have 2 coats of white nail polish before I put on 2 coats of DS Coronation. Other than the 3D flowers, I tried putting on this new metal balls I got for free at the nail supplies shop. I had lots of looks on the train while wearing this nail art.

As for the OPI My Private Jet, I actually think it looks good just by itself. It looks a little bit Burgundy with lots of tiny sparkles. However, since I'm so used to have nail art, I cannot stop myself from adding bigger sparkles on the tips as well as some diamonties and gold foils.

Finally, I received a firm confirmation that we're going to have some news this Monday or Tuesday regarding our job security. It's giving me some butterflies in my tummy, because I'm still unsure of what to do if I loose my job. Even if my job is safe, I still feel lots of uncertainty, as many staff have speculated that this is not the end of the job cuts. Sigh... very uncertin times ahead. I hope this whole financial crisis will be over soon!
