Just a quick update today. I did this set of nails a few weeks ago. Due to the clunky gold chains, it really attracted as lot of attention. For this design, it's either you love it or you hate it.

I LOVE OPI - Glitzerland. It's got a super smooth application and lasted me nearly 2 weeks with no chips!

I also did this set of nails for a friend a few weeks ago.

Thank you priincess and Katrina!
I'm glad both of you like the gold chain mani. I had mix reactions when I wore it. You won't believe the amount of glue I had to use to stick this on hehe.

Wow that chain mani is bold! I'm not a huge fan of gold but I think I would really adore it in silver. The mani you did on your friend is lovely, the hint of pink in the flowers is so pretty <3

Hi Violet. Yes, the gold chains are really huge. I bought some silver chains from the craft store as well. I'll do a silver and chrome version next time. The flowers on my friend's mani was a little bit too light. I came out well in the photos but it doesn't stand out enough when you look at it normally. I've just done one more set for a friend's wedding. I'll post that one up soon :)

Hi Jin, I do like the gold detail but agree with Violet. Very bold! Nice to see something different. Love your friends mani. Gorgeous work!

Thanks Rachel! I just used nail polish as per normal, wait for it to dry then put a lot of nail glue, cut the chain then lay it on top my my nails. You can add more glue if required. It lasted me 2 weeks! I had to touch up my black nail polish only. The chains stayed on very tightly the whole time and the gold nail polish was super long lasting!
