Just a quick post today. I broke 2 of my finger nails and had to put my pre planned nail art design on hold. The nail break was quite massive so I've decided to trim down all my nails. Now that they are much shorter, I thought I'll give OPI's 'Who The Shrek Are You?' a try. I've never worn such a bright green before and I think they look so cute on short nails.

This was the first broken nail! Look how short it is now. |

After 1 week wear, under filtered light - The colour looks so different! |

Oh by the way, we're building our first house! It's so exciting seeing the brick work finally getting done. I've made provision for a nail art section within the house. Can't wait for it to be completed! :)

Did you get the Shrek blue? I got that one, but it was streaky :(
Hi Reece, which blue are you referring to? Ogre-The-Top Blue or What’s With The Cattitude?
I only got What’s With The Cattitude and that one applied beautifully. I did a cute mani with it. Will post it up soon.
i prefer your nails to be shorter, think it looks better :P
yay, exicited to see the new house!
miss ya!
Yeahhh you're back!! :) love the green very cute!! :)
Hi Small Yuan, I miss u too hehe. Yes, it's really exciting seeing the house getting built! I've taken nearly a hundred photos already. As for my nails, I like them slightly longer cos I've got short stumpy fingers ;)
Hey Ena, yah I like the green too. It's very different. My dad liked it so much I told him I can paint his nails Shrek green too haha. Of course that didn't happen.
I got the What’s With The Cattitude. I had to put on 3 layers to get it solid and non streaky. It's a really pretty blue, but I think I may have gotten a bad bottle.
Hi there, I chanced on your blog when I was searching for acrylic flowers. Saw your tutorial on making acrylic flowers but I am wondering where did you get your supply from? I am a newbie in nailart but i really love the flowers you made in your post :)
Hi there! I love your tutorial on making acrylic flowers. where did you get those tools from? I wld love to make it too!
Hi Sammie, I got my materials from various places. Most of the time I ask my friends to get them for me when they travel to Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore. I also source from local nail supplies shops. I am sure you can find these most of these nail art supplies online.
ooou, sorry for late report to Jin~~ >v< not used to see your nails with this length, haha.. like the green it suits your skin tone, but not to me as mine is kinda yellow in tone compare to yours.. hehehe...
Thanks Rachel, I am not used to the look of short nails too. But it's a refreshing change to chop them off sometimes. Your picture is sooo cute hehe.
