My attempt to draw rabbits was an epic failure! haha but I've going to post them anyway.
The funny thing is that I'm actually getting mixed reactions for this. Some little kids saw my nails and they say cute bunnies. My relatives say it looks like an albino mouse. And the best description I got for it was RAT-BITS! hahaha I think the trick is to draw the ears wider and longer to prevent it from looking like a mouse.

Aawwww! They look like those marshmallow bunnies you see around Easter. Too cute. I say bunnies.
Sorry forgot to mention no one would mistake them for "rat-bits" if they had fluffy tails :)
Thank you Makeup Mama! Yah they do look like marshmallows! I didn't think of that! ;) My brother in law mentioned the same thing about fluffy tails. I should add some small cotton balls but they won't be waterproof! Maybe I can experiment making it with acrylics.

I love them and still think you are ever so clever ;) Gorgeous pink!
Hiya, love your Chinese New Year nails. So pretty and cute. The bunny looks exactly like a bunny on my cell phone dangly that I have from Japan. Regarding the tail I think a little small bump will increase the bunny-ness.
So adorable!! Love to seeing a fellow nail art lover's creative designs =)
Hi Bonita, yes they are cute. You should see the practise defect ones I made. Some of them have huge eyes and super big ears! They look really funny. I had lots of fun making these rat-bits!
Thank you Danielle! This is one of my fav light pink nail polish. The glitter polish is new but I've only used a thin layer for this design. I layered about 3 coats on my toe nails and they look amazing!
Thank you Helen. I love the goldfish mani you created it's so pretty!
Hi Chrissy, welcome to my blog. I really like your snowman mani!
that is tooo adorable! i agree a lil ball at the end like a fluffy tail would make it more like a rabbit but, i don't think it looks like a RAT O__o keke i like the different colour sakura, it's subtle but beautiful =)
OMG, thats too adorable!!!!! i definitely love love love the rabbits!!
Hi Himi, I agree with the fluffy tail. Will definitely give this a try next time. Not sure yet on how to make the tail appear fluffy. I like the colour of the Sakura too. It's achieved by stamping the Sakura and then apply a thin layer of glitter and stamping again.
Thank you Silence is Loud! I am glad everyone thinks it looks like rabbits. hehe.
Definitely rabbits and very cute ones that is :-) And that girly pink glitter - I it and love your imaginative creativity!
Hi Wolfie, yay to rabbits hehe. Everyone at work thinks it's a mouse! My next challenge is to draw a teddy bear.
This is so soooooo cute little bunnies staying with sakura on Jin's nails, hehe...
anyways without the rabbit it looks like valentine's nails too.. :p
hehe yes they are cute bunnies! Next time I'll make them a bit bigger. It looks ok in the photos but appear too small in real life. Some people only see a white lump on my nail and wonder what it is hehe.
Oh man this is soo cute!!!!
hehe thank you Ena!
Cuuute! I don't care if you don't like them, I'm making some marshmallow bunnies of my own! I'll probably pre-make them though, I think the acrylic sculpture is often more fun that actually putting the nail art together. XD
XD Mouse x Rabbit hybrids are completely adorable! They turned out much nicer than my NY's nails, Turns out I fail at drawing rabbits too hahaha!
Hi Piper, acrylic sculpture is indeed very fun. One can creating many interesting and wonderful art work with acrylics. I am extremely wowed by the ones done for competition nails. They are great pieces of art work! However I also enjoy the feeling of completeness when the acrylic sculptures are applied onto the nails.
Thank you Violet! Next year is the year of the dragon! That's going to be even harder to draw. Hehe. I better start practicing now ;)
