When I saw this piece of furniture, I knew immediately that it would be perfect for storing all my nail art equipments. Previous to this, whenever I need to work on my nails, I need to carry 3 boxes worth of stuff to the living room. Now, I just roll this work station to whichever location in my house.

On one side is the display unit where I store all my nail polish according to their colour, on the second side are the shelves and drawers where I keep all my nail polish removers, foils, cotton, blings, pearls, stickers...etc...on the third side I store all my magazines and the fourth side is a handle to push the work station around.

This is the best set up for me at the moment. I am thinking of getting some Gels and a UV lamp very soon. I'll need to think of a way to store them once they arrive!

I saw this colour for the first time on The Polish Addict and have been thinking about it ever since. However I've never seen China Glaze nail polish being sold here in Perth before.

You can imagine my excitement when I found this last bottle standing on the shelves!

Unfortunately, after wearing this nail design for 3 days, I broke 2 nails on my right hand! I was extremely sad the entire day! I have to postpone a few different nail designs I had in mind because it cannot be done on short nails. Well the only good thing that come out of this is that I can finally have better control of the touch screen on my new iPhone 3Gs! hahaha

Some time back, when I started my nail art craze, a friend of mine introduced me to a nail products supplier. Every since that first introduction, I've been going to her shop to top up my supplies. On my birthday, she brought me to several distributors to get some nail polish. I was like a kid in a candy store when I saw all the brightly coloured bottles! The best thing of buying from a distributor is you can get the nail polishes at half the price. I managed to find a few other brands we don't see very often in the shops. So so so happy!

First time I received flowers for my birthday at work! Thanks Kate!

Oh my goodness! My favourate singer Amei have released a new albulm this month under her Puyuma aboriginal name - Gulilai Amit. The entire albulm ROCKS! I've been listening to all the tracks on repeat mode for several days. My husband can even sing her songs now hahaha!

Created my nails to match the rock theme.

As I'm writing this post, it's pouring like crazy outside. I'm planning to go shopping tomorrow, but looks like I may have to stay home and watch drama instead!

Tomorrow's forecast:
"Showers and windy, with the risk of a thunderstorm and hail. Strong and squally W/SW'ly winds, reaching gale force at times."

This is last week's nail art. It took me 4 whole hours to get it done. My eyes were all blur and 'googley' after it's complete.

Is it old age or is it really cold this winter? I am already looking wishing for Spring to arrive!
Did a frosty design this week.

Last night at 3am I was woken by a loud bang. Upon checking, I realised our fence have collapsed! The strong winds, rain and hail stones passing through last night have created havoc all over Perth!

These pictured were taken after much cleaning and shifting around. The fencing were initially leaning against my patio. I also found one of my neighbour's tree trunk on my drive way and leaves all over the place. It's a night mare, but thank God for it could have been worse!

I recently received an email from my uncle inviting everyone in the family to his place for a Durian and karaoke party. The only problem for me is that the party is a good 5 hours flight away :( I heard they also had very good mangosteens! I miss my family, I miss Durians and Mangosteens too!!!

To make up for the lack of karaoke, I spent yesterday afternoon with a good friend locked in a karaoke room for 4 hours. Think I'm getting a sore throat now, but I would rather have a sore throat from eating too much durians :)

These 2 nail art were created during the last couple of weeks. I am still wearing the brown and yellow one at the moment. It's been 5 days and it's still wearing very well with very little damage. I've been very diligent in putting on a top coat every 2 days and it's really working well in prolonging the nail polish wear time. My toe nails are on long service leave, meaning they have no polish on this week. My finger nails need to see some daylight as well but I simply cannot do without nail art at the moment. They'll just have to wait :)

Oh what a fun and relaxing holiday! I've taken a couple of weeks off to spend time with my uncle and auntie who've come over to visit me from Singapore. We went shopping, eating, vegetated at home and watched lots and lots of dramas! Sigh I wished everyday could be like this hehehe...

For my nails this week, I've chosen to attempt 3D acrylic nail art. It was so fun and smelly hahaha. To create the flowers, I had to dip my brush into this strong smelling monomer liquid and then into acrylic powder and draw each petal onto my nails. Took me ages but it was great fun! The only let down was the new gel like top coat I used to seal the design. It created so much bubbles that I almost want to remove the entire art work and redo them again! sigh...

My toes were pampered this time too!
